Bryan Cranston
Bryan Cranston was born in Hollywood, CA in 1956 and began acting on local stages after college. His first stage role was at the Granada Theater in the San Fernando Valley. He began acting for TV in soap LOVING (1983 – 1985) and short-lived series RAISING MIRANDA (1988). Between 1994 and 1997, he had occasional appearances in SEINFELD as Jerry's dentist. In 1998, he acted in THE X-FILES and met creator Vince Gilligan. In 199, he directed his first film, LAST CHANCE. In 2000, he landed his breakout role as the father in MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE, directing several episodes and earning three Emmy nominations 2008-2013 he played Walter White in 5 seasons of Vince Gilligan's AMC series BREAKING BAD, becoming the first actor after Bill Cosby to win three Emmys in a row. In 2014 he won another Emmy for the second half of Season 5. In 2011, he also acted in THE LINCOLN LAWYER, DRIVE and CONTAGION. After BREAKING BAD wrapped, Cranston returned to stage to play LBJ on Broadway in ALL THE WAY, winning a Tony, a role he reprised in the HBO adaptation as well. In 2015, he received his first Oscar nom for TRUMBO, and most recently shot the US remake of LES INTOUCHABLES, UNTOUCHABLE, set for 2018 release.
