Forever and A Day

Munich stockbroker Jan Ottman stays at home with his pregnant wife and sends Gregor, his best friend and business associate, to a meeting on the 81st floor of the North Tower of the World Trade Center - on September 11, 2001. Jan watches the building collapse on TV and, plagued by the thought that Gregor may have died in his place, takes the first flight he can to New York. As he tries desperately to find out if Gregor is alive or buried in the debris, the story of their tumultuous relationship unfolds in flashbacks...
