What Is a Man Without a Moustache?

A romantic comedy about people fighting obstacles in their minds planted there by traditional patterns of behavior instilled by the church, the authorities and ethnic identity. In the heartland of Dalmatia, the poorest province of Croatia, time stands still and our characters, a young widow, an ex-alcoholic priest, a former emigrant to Germany, his daughter, a local haiku poet, the priest’s twin brother, the general whose mistress is the Minister of Defence, all struggle awkwardly for their right to love and be loved.
