Six Weeks of Fear

Sascha’s girlfriend Julia, a freelance translator, is in Turkey for a conference on Oriental Studies. When Sascha goes to the airport to pick her up he is told that she died in a diving accident in the Mediterranean a few days earlier. Sascha is plunged into the depths of despair. Until he sees her again on television! In Iraq, an unknown group has seized several Europeans and is holding them hostage. When the authorities insist that the identity of the woman in the video can’t be established, he flies to Iraq, determined to do everything in his power to rescue Julia... even though it’s become clear that certain forces back in Germany are willing to go to any lengths to prevent her from ever being released. But why?
