Logline
Part character study, part thriller, this film is low-key, but gradually and meticulously grows more and more intense.
A young reporter named Asta covers local news in the coastal region of Sunnmøre in Norway. The disappearance of an asylum-seeker piques her interest, as the story is a welcome change from the usual light fare of summer. But as she attempts to uncover the truth, she finds herself questioning her views on the political and social reality in her country, as well as the relationship she’s in.

Anders Emblem
Anders Emblem was born in Ålesund on the west coast of Norway in 1985. He has spent the past ten years studying film, traveling the world, and doing social work. A HUMAN POSITION (2022) is his second feature film after HURRY SLOWLY (2018).
