Logline
Introverted outsiders rarely seem as likeable as they do in this delightful sci-fi buddy comedy set in rural Britain.
After a particularly harsh winter, Brian becomes very depressed. Completely isolated and with no one to talk to, he does what any sane person would do when faced with such a melancholic situation: he builds a robot.

Jim Archer
Jim Archer is a writer/director working mostly in comedy, mostly in London, most of the time. He cut his teeth shooting comedy sketches with friends before writing and directing his debut short film, INTERVENTION (2014). BRIAN AND CHARLES marks his feature film debut.
