Women are significantly underrepresented in film, especially in those sectors that are particularly lucrative. Most stories are written, produced, and directed by men for men. Nevertheless, more and more women are asserting themselves and are thus making an enormous contribution to the betterment of film. But who are these women? And what have their experiences been?
