For Book Meets Film, a jury selects twelve books that offer great potential for film adaptations. Their publishers will present these books to the film producers attending this pitch. At the get-together following the presentation, there will be an opportunity to talk with the publishers’ representatives about content, licenses, and options. Book Meets Film is an integral part of FILMFEST MÜNCHEN; along with the Frankfurt Book Fair in the fall and the Berlinale in the winter, it is the third major networking platform for the German-language book and film industry.
