A debut film with a beat: this daughter-father story will impress viewers with its energetic storytelling, its vibrant soundtrack, and newcomer Lola Campbell.
After her mother dies, 12-year-old Georgie lives by herself in an apartment in suburban London. Social Services thinks she lives with her uncle, but Georgie gets along just fine on her own. Then Jason shows up, claiming to be her father. What are the motives of this uninvited guest who so abruptly and ineptly wants to look after his daughter?
