Logline

A tragicomic fem-power documentary about the spectacular (repeated) failure of the director's own band and the art of carrying on as a group.

Álfrún, Hrefna, and Saga are giving themselves another year to either become pop stars or quit their idiosyncratic art-rock band, The Post-Performance Blues Band -- because they still dream of breaking through as artists, even though they're pushing 40. Amid their search for allies, their friendship, and their exuberant musical vision, these three Icelandic women are giving the performance of their lives.
