Logline

This animated film from Brazil is more than just a feast for the eyes. Its mystically tinged story also tells of environmental destruction and armed conflicts in a way that is suitable for children.

Claé and Bruó are secret agents working for two enemy kingdoms. When they are both sent on a mission to the enchanted forest, they discover that it is under threat from terrible giants. Amid the entrancing thicket of crumbling ruins and soaring desert cliffs, they are forced to leave their conflict behind. For only together can they find the Perlimps — mysterious creatures who can show them how to find peace.

Recommended for ages 8 and up.
