How is artificial existence affecting the way screenplays are developed? A talk (4–6 pm) in cooperation with FFF Bayern, Mediennetzwerk Bayern, and FILMFEST MÜNCHEN. Talk in German.

Will there be movies in the near future with people who look like human beings but who only exist virtually? That we asked four years ago in our talk THIS ACTRESS DOES NOT EXIST. Today, four years later, we ask ourselves: what are they like, the films whose screenplays are written by a machine? What does it do to us if we don't know whether what we see and hear was created by human beeings or by machines? Does a machine think at all? Haven't humans always had similarities with machines? We discuss this question in our talk THIS WRITER DOES NOT EXIST, inspired by theses of seven personalities from the fields of ethics, literary studies, brain research, philosophy of consciousness in Buddhism, psychoanalysis - and of course screenplay and direction.
