FILMMAKERS LIVE! ITALIAN CINEMA NOW

As always, FILMFEST MÜNCHEN welcomes numerous Italian filmmakers, two of whom discuss the current state of Italian independent cinema: Marta Savina's debut PRIMADONNA shows how only a few decades ago the Italian legal system was able to break away from a sky-scraping, systematic oppression of women, and at the same time she has made a film about the province. Fulvio Risuleo shows his already third feature film NOTTE FANTASMA: a road movie, a night and city film. The respective convincing approaches could not be more different, united in their independent spirit, which the directorial talents will tell about.
