FILMMAKERS LIVE! AFTER THE OSCARS: A CONVERSATION WITH ED BERGER, JAMES FRIEND

ALL QUIET ON THE WESTERN FRONT received Oscar nominations in nine categories in 2023. Of these, the film earned four awards, including for best cinematography by James Friend and for best international film. This first-ever German film adaptation of Erich Maria Remarque’s war epic is the third collaboration between James Friend and director Ed Berger. In this panel discussion, the two will talk about their longtime collaboration and working as part of international teams.
