UNDER SUSPICION - AN ELEGANT SOLUTION While on a joint European Border Control mission aboard an Italian coast guard vessel, German policeman Thorsten Brenner goes overboard and dies. German Internal Affairs detective Eva Prohacek soon discovers that the crew’s accounts of the alleged accident don’t hold water. She joins a patrol mission on the vessel and is shocked as she witnesses the crew mistreating refugees from Africa and leaving them to die on a sinking smuggling boat. Although the coast guard vessel's captain and the Italian Border Patrol boss try their best to impede her investigation, Prohacek is able to access incriminating material that leads her to discover the real story behind Brenner’s death. Meanwhile, while Prohacek's boss in Munich finds out why German authorities are trying to hinder her investigation as well: They too have dirty secrets...
