Villegas

After a long time without seeing each other, two cousins, Esteban and Pipa, have to drive together to their grandfather's funeral in Villegas, the small inland town where they grew up together. This coming home soon turns into an intense emotional journey, punctuated by the reunions, the weight of the past and the end of an era.
"I wanted to portray the universe of the land, of of rural Argentina, of the pampa . . . At the same time, I wanted to portray an urban generation that has a hard time embracing adulthood and facing the pain that this entails. The film unravels in the clash between these two worlds."
