It is the early 1990’s in Kurdistan, northern Iraq. Saddam Hussein has a startling grip on the Kurdish population and his regime is threatening to escalate the terror. Life is not easy for the homeless brothers Zana and Dana.
One day, the solution for all of Kurdistan’s troubles appears through a hole in the wall, as the brothers peek in on a screening of SUPERMAN at the worn-out local cinema. Zana and Dana decide that they want to go where Superman lives – America. Zana, the younger brother, starts to make a list of all the people he is going to tell Superman to punish. On top of the list is Saddam Hussein. Dana on the other hand makes a plan for their journey. But they have no money, no passports, and the only means of transportation they've got is a donkey named "Michael Jackson".
