Bike Boy
"Each new Andy Warhol film confirms the observation that the master of the put-on is reinventing the cinema from its crudest origins, discovering its essence in the process...What Warhol wants is for people to strip their souls (often their clothes too), so he may in turn project his unique, darkly apocalyptic vision of Mankind... Warhol, who treats nudity and profanity as casually as ever, once again has moved beyond camp to tragedy. "
Kevin Thomas, L.A. Times, 1968
"The February 1968 issue of Confidential, the scandal-mongering monthly magazine that claimed it "tells the facts and names the names," ran a photograph of Warhol and a Bike Boy ad on its cover in connection with an article headlined, "Coming: Homosexual Action Movies... Andy, far from being embarrassed about appearing on the cover of Confidential (his relatives in Pittsburgh were mortified), thought it was 'just great'."
