Eugene Boateng

Eugene - nicknamed U-Gin - is an actor, choreographer, dancer and model. He was born in Düsseldorf to Ghanaian parents. He began training in dance at the age of 19 and took part in his first competitions. He made his cinema debut as an actor in the comedy BECKS LETZTER SOMMER. In 2021 he played "Kojo" in York-Fabian Raabe's cinema drama BORGA. For his work he was awarded, among others, the Max Ophüls Prize for the best socially relevant film, the German Acting Award in the category "Best Actor in a Leading Role" and the Prize of the German Film Critics. In the ARD series "Der Flensburg-Krimi" he can be seen as investigator Antoine Haller alongside Katharina Schlothauer.
