Dr. Maria Furtwängler

Since 2002, Maria has embodied one of the most successful female investigators on German television in the "NDR Tatort" detective Charlotte Lindholm. In Isabel Stever's feature film DAS WETTER IN GESCHLOSSENEN RÄUMEN, she was Dorothea, an aid worker caught between all the stools, and in Ariane Zeller's ARD film NACHTS BADEN, she played the rock singer Pola. Together with her daughter Lisa, she runs the Malisa Foundation, which is dedicated to promoting gender justice. She has received numerous awards for her roles and her commitment. Most recently, she appeared in the feature film BEKENNTNISSE DES HOCHSTAPLERS FELIX KRULL and a new season of the TNT comedy original AUSGEBREMST, which she co-developed with her production company Atalante Film. She is also involved with her production company in the crime series ALLES KOMMT ZURÜCK, which will air in December 2021.
