Fatih Abay

Fatih Abay (he/him) is the Diversity & Inclusion Officer of the European Film Academy. Trained as a cultural anthropologist, his research in the last ten years  had a main focus on migration, diversity, racism, gender, critical theory and post-colonial studies. He taught on these topics various courses at several universities in and around Berlin, Germany. Before joining the European Film Academy, he worked for an anti-racism NGO in Germany, where he was responsible for its scientific-civil society orientation and political advocacy.
