Art looted during the Nazi era remains a highly controversial issue. THE SPOILS seeks answers at a time when far-right populism is on the rise. In view of this, director Jamie Kastner, Willi Korte (historian and legal expert), Elisabeth Sandmann (author and publisher), Catherine Hickley (journalist), and Christian Fuhrmeister (Zentralinstitut für Kunstgeschichte) discuss current research and restitution dynamics.
