Organizer: VeDRA Verband für Film- und Fernsehdramaturgie
How are stories created? New approaches to the funding of screenplays point in one direction: collaborative story development. Collaboration between one or more writers and script consultants or other creative individuals turns the focus to discussing a story or narrative’s potential long before the first treatment is delivered.
Do the working methods from series development in the writers’ room translate to feature films? Does this result in better films that are popular at home and competitive internationally? And how can the next generation of film school graduates be introduced to team-based content development in a timely way?
A VeDRA talk featuring experts who are industry practitioners, instructors, and educators about the possibilities and limits of reinventing the dramaturgical process.
