FANTASTIC SUMMIT OF THE GENRE FILM FESTIVALS IN GERMAN-SPEAKING COUNTRIES

Fantasy festivals are trending! Audiences in German-speaking countries are thirsting for the different, the dark, the fantastic of the "speculative genres" - despite the traditional alienation of the local industry and scene.
Alongside the pioneering FANTASY FILMFEST, events such as Vienna's SLASH and Regensburg's HARDLINE have emerged. And there are more to come, such as the Swiss BRUGGGORE and the BROYHAN FANTASTIK in Hanover.

This summit will bring the people behind the festivals together for the first time. What do they have in common and what are their unique characteristics? And what new perspectives will open up?
