A challenging drama about morality, crime, and justice.
Canan, a young criminal defense lawyer, moves between two different worlds. By day, she’s in the courtroom, defending her client, a murder suspect, against all odds. At night, she’s in the hospital, watching over her terminally ill mother, who’s on life support. In less than 24 hours, Canan will have to make difficult moral decisions that will affect every aspect of her life.

Meet the director
Selman Nacar
Selman Nacar studied law and filmmaking at Bilgi University in Istanbul and went on to complete a master’s degree in film directing at Columbia University in New York City. He made his debut in 2015 with the short film KUYU, followed by his first feature-length film, BETWEEN TWO DAWNS, in 2021. His second film, HESITATION WOUND, premiered in Venice in 2023. Nacar is also the founder of the production company Kuyu Film.
