Logline

A drama in which moral dilemmas and taboos are dealt with amid breathtaking scenery.

Zorig hasn’t come to the Mongolian countryside to see the idyllic landscapes. Rather, this urban police detective is investigating the case of a man who has gone missing. In the process, he questions two young women who claim to be sisters. Unaware of the dark secrets they hold, he becomes romantically involved with one of them.

WHITE FLAG

Batbayar Chogsom

Batbayar Chogsom was born in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. In 2000, he moved to Zurich, where he earned a degree in social sciences. His first motion picture, OUT OF PARADISE (2018), earned the award for best feature film at the Shanghai International Film Festival. WHITE FLAG is his second feature film.
