Logline

Trauma meets love in a drama starring Jessica Chastain and Peter Sarsgaard in which many things are not as they seem.

Sylvia is a little creeped out at being followed home by a man at night and finding him at her door the next morning. Who is he and what does he want from her? Only later does she find out that he suffers from dementia and doesn’t remember anything. However, he triggers memories of an incident that she would rather forget.

MEMORY

Michel Franco

Michel Franco was born in Mexico City in 1979. He began making films as a student. His first feature film, DANIEL & ANA, was screened at Cannes in 2009. Three years later, he received the top award in that festival’s Un Certain Regard section for his second film, AFTER LUCIA. NEW ORDER (2020) and SUNDOWN (2021) premiered at the Venice Film Festival, as did MEMORY (2023).
