A world premiere: An atmospheric and touching film about the healing powers of creativity and friendship.
Once a big name in the music business, Allen retreats to a remote cabin in the Canadian wilderness to find solitude and mourn a tragic loss. The ethereal sounds in his recording studio there should help him deal with his grief. An unexpected encounter ends Allen’s isolation, however, and gives him a new outlook.

Meet the director
Harley Chamandy
Harley Chamandy is a Lebanese-Greek-Egyptian director from Montréal, Canada, who works in New York City. In 2018, he made his first short film, THE FINAL ACT OF JOEY JUMBLER, which was screened at film festivals around the world. His first feature-length film, ALLEN SUNSHINE, is having its world premiere at the Munich International Film Festival.
