Daniele Luchetti turns inner conflicts and dark secrets into a very sophisticated and suspenseful motion picture.
The affair between Pietro and his pupil Teresa is as tempestuous as it is illicit. After a fight, they decide to each tell the other a secret that could ruin his or her own life. Since then, a lot of time has passed — but Pietro remains haunted by the possibility that Teresa might one day reappear and reveal his secret.

Daniele Luchetti
Daniele Luchetti was born in Rome in 1960. He attended the Scuola di Cinema Gaumont from 1980 to 1982. His debut came with the comedy IT’S HAPPENING TOMORROW (1988). His subsequent films, such as LA SCUOLA (FILMFEST MÜNCHEN 1996), reveal a preference for humorous material. In THOSE HAPPY YEARS (FILMFEST MÜNCHEN 2014), about a struggling sculptor and art teacher, he demonstrated that he could also handle serious themes.
