Logline
A bittersweet drama about three generations at the intersection of past and present.
Mamma is on her deathbed, leaving her daughter Karin and granddaughter Mari to face their own troubled relationship. The house is caught up in a whirlwind of fragmentary memories and scraps of archival footage. Repressed feelings of pain, anger, and love come to the surface.

Meet the director
Eeva Mägi
Eeva Mägi studied documentary filmmaking at the Baltic Film, Media and Arts School in Tallinn. She has made several short documentary films, including LEMBRI UUDU (2017) and THE WEIGHT OF ALL THE BEAUTY (2019). Her first fictional feature film, MO MAMMA, premiered at the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival in 2023.
