Day-to-day life takes a romantic turn in this microcosm featuring endearing and realistic characters.
Zeca finds it hard to follow a structured routine and get up on time in the morning. The bus ride to his job at the school library in Belo Horizonte takes an hour and a half. One day, when everything goes wrong, he spends some time with his co-worker, Louisa. They turn out to have more in common than he’d thought.

Meet the director
André Novais Oliveira
André Novais Oliveira was born in Brazil in 1984. He studied history at the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais and film at the Escola Livre de Cinema. His first feature film, SHE COMES BACK ON THURSDAY (2014), was screened at various international festivals. He co-founded the production company Filmes de Plástico back in 2009. THE DAY I MET YOU (2023) is his third feature film.
