Logline

A sensitive drama about self-assertion and a search for happiness.

Emma is a talented conductor who’s about to make it big. Her relationship with her father, who’s also her agent, is complicated: in pushing her to do her best, he creates friction between the two of them. Emma’s romantic relationship with Naëlle, a newly separated cellist, is also complicated. Emma must now prepare for the most important performance of her life.

Chloé Robichaud

Chloé Robichaud, who was born in Québec city in 1988, attended Concordia University in Montréal. After making several short films, she directed her first feature film, the athletic drama SARAH PREFERS TO RUN (2013), which was screened in the Un Certain Regard section at Cannes. Her third feature film, DAYS OF HAPPINESS, premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2023.
