A farce about cleaning buckets, privilege, and clever lies.
Who’s going to say no to extra money? Not Rayelle. Dr. Patel hires her to clean his house, then asks if she could clean that of his mistress as well. Over time, Ray gets to know what kind of people they are as she observes their quirks and foibles. These include a certain credulity when they assume that, as a black woman, she can talk to the dead.

Anu Valia
Anu Valia is a director and writer whose roots lie in India and Indiana. She has worked on series such as SHE-HULK (2022), THE AFTERPARTY (2022), and AND JUST LIKE THAT... (2021). Her short film LUCIA, BEFORE AND AFTER (2017) earned an award at Sundance. WE STRANGERS, her first solo feature-length film, premiered at the South by Southwest festival in 2024.
