A world premiere: A lavish portrait of an extraordinary artistic relationship.
Gabriele Münter and Wassily Kandinsky shared a love of art: as members of The Blue Rider, they made a huge contribution to classical modernism in the early 20th century. They also loved each other. But as Kandinsky achieved fame, admiration, recognition, and reaped its financial rewards, Münter found him increasingly difficult to deal with.

Meet the director
Marcus O. Rosenmüller
Marcus O. Rosenmüller was born in Duisburg in 1963. He studied communications at LMU Munich. In 1983, he and Werner Koenig founded Koenig & Rosenmüller Filmproduktion, which spawned MME – Me, Myself & Eye Film- und TV-Produktion in 1991. He has directed numerous video clips, and his work for television includes directing several 90-minute episodes in the crime series DER TAUNUSKRIMI and SARAH KOHR.
