Meet the director
Joachim A. Lang
Joachim A. Lang was born in a village in southwestern Germany in 1959. He was artistic director of the Brecht Festival for eight years and has overseen several projects and films about the playwright, including MACK THE KNIFE – BRECHT’S THREEPENNY FILM, which opened the Munich International Film Festival in 2018. His work has earned distinguished awards for film and television.
