Logline

A world premiere: An impressive political thriller based on a popular novel by Peter Grandl.

When his daughter is killed by neo-Nazis, Holocaust survivor Ephraim Zamir captures the assailants and invites Internet users to decide their fate. The fortified medieval tower where the murderers are kept becomes the focal point of a clash between far-right extremists, protesters, and the media.


The screening will include the first two episodes of the series.

Hannu Salonen

Hannu Salonen was born in Finland in 1972. He studied film at the Berlin Film Academy (dffb) and graduated in 1999 with his award-winning debut film, DOWNHILL CITY. Since then, he has routinely worked on TV series such as TATORT and POLIZEIRUF 110. He also shot the historical thriller DIE HEBAMME (2014) as well as the series SCHULD (2015), based on a book by Ferdinand von Schirach. His ARD miniseries OKTOBERFEST 1900 was aired in 2020.
