Meet the director
Yorgos Lanthimos
Yorgos Lanthimos studied directing at the Hellenic Cinema and Television School Stavrakos in Athens. The drama DOGTOOTH (FILMFEST MÜNCHEN 2009), about a couple raising their children in isolation, brought him international acclaim. His science-fiction comedy POOR THINGS (2023) earned the Golden Lion in Venice as well as four Oscars. KINDS OF KINDNESS premiered in the main competition at Cannes in 2024.
