Logline
A drama about lovers and alienated people, recently honored in Cannes!
Nurse Prabha’s routine in Mumbai is upended when she unexpectedly receives a gift from her estranged husband in Germany. Meanwhile, her younger roommate is looking for a place where she and her new boyfriend can share some intimacy. By chance, the two women discover a beach town where their respective desires can be addressed.

Payal Kapadia
Payal Kapadia is an Indian filmmaker. She received the Œil d’or for best documentary for A NIGHT OF KNOWING NOTHING at the Cannes Film Festival in 2021. ALL WE IMAGINE AS LIGHT, her second feature film, had its world premiere at Cannes in 2024, where it earned the Grand Prix du Jury.
