Logline

A cinematic work that discovers cohesion in the midst of rubble and oblivion.

In a seaside village in Sicily, Arturo lives with the prostitutes who have raised him since birth. He’s now 18, but has retained his childlike disposition and innocence. The fact that he’s unlike others his age, walks in an odd way, and is unable to speak doesn’t bother anyone — in a matriarchal society that functions according to its own rules.
