Logline

A family drama about trust and betrayal.

Jessica Lange delivers an Oscar-winning performance as Carly, the bipolar wife of a nuclear scientist with the US Army. On a military base in Alabama, the family witnesses a cover-up of dangerous nuclear tests. This already volatile situation is exacerbated by Carly’s mental instability and flirtatious nature, which begin to erode their relationship and attract unwanted attention.


The film will be shown in the analog version (35 mm).

Meet the director

Tony Richardson

Tony Richardson was a British director, screenwriter, and producer. He achieved renown in the 1960s as part of the British New Wave thanks to such films as A TASTE OF HONEY (1961), THE LONELINESS OF THE LONG-DISTANCE RUNNER (1962), and TOM JONES (1963), the latter of which earned him an Oscar for best director.
