But the show must go on: theater has been her life for decades and opening night remains her goal. A balancing act between the needs of her family and her own craving for the limelight begins.

Michael Cristofer
Michael Cristofer is an American film director, screenwriter, actor, and playwright whose 1977 play “The Shadow Box” won both a Pulitzer Prize for drama and a Tony Award for best play. He also directed the films GIA (1998), BODY SHOTS (1999), and ORIGINAL SIN (2001), the latter starring Antonio Banderas and Angelina Jolie.
