Tell us what you think!

The Votemo voting tool will once again help to determine the winner of the Audience Awards.

Tell us what you think!

This year, the Munich International Film Festival will be presenting not one, but two audience awards: the Audience Award International and the Audience Award National for the most popular German film in the program. Don’t worry: you don’t have to know which film falls into which category. Simply vote for all the films you’ve seen at the festival and tell us how you liked them.

The Votemo tool will once again make it easy for you to do this. There is a QR code for each film section. Scan it directly from the screen when the film ends or from the section pages of the festival guide. Swipe through the film entries and search for the movie you’ve just watched. Don’t want to scan QR codes? No problem: go to our website, and under Film Sections you’ll find a direct link to the individual sections.

The code will also be displayed as you leave the auditorium. Choose the one of the five statements that describes how you’d rate the film.

You don’t have to know right away how you’d rate the movie. You’ll still have time to talk about it with your friends, get some fresh air, compare it to other films, or even sleep on it. Voting always runs from the first screening of a film until Saturday, July 6 at 8 am.

Repertoire films, i.e. films that were not made in the past year, are not eligible for the Audience Award. (This applies this year to our homages and to the cooperation with Museum Brandhorst). The CineKindl section has its own Audience Award, for which votes are cast in person using ballot boxes.

Please let us know what you think of our selection of films by voting for every film you’ve seen. And enter your e-mail address if you’d like to take part in our prize drawing. We’re giving away two exclusive VIP packages for “Klassik am Odeonsplatz” on July 12, 2024.

Good luck to all the films and to everyone taking part in the drawing! We look forward to hearing your opinion.
