Beergarden Convention

The Beergarden Convention is our industry platform for networking: Here there is space to gather ideas, form alliances and be inspired anew. Our event program for accredited trade visitors includes kEynotes, panel conferences, workshops and much more. All events marked as part of the Beergarden Convention on the website are exclusively for accredited persons, those marked Public are open to all.

Beergarden Convention Lounge

The lounge for accredited visitors is open daily from Friday, June 28 to Friday, July 5 between 2 and 8 pm. In the garden of the festival center Amerikahaus (Karolinenplatz 3, 80333 Munich) you can meet for a relaxed exchange between events and screenings. There will also be happy hours every day at 4 pm.

CineCoPro Conference

As part of the Beergarden Convention, this conference serves to exchange information about the framework conditions and infrastructural conditions in the annually changing host countries and offers opportunities for intensive and protected networking. This year, producers from the host country Canada are expected to attend and will be able to network with German representatives from the industry as part of the program.

Press & Industry Screenings (P&I)

All film screenings marked with P&I on the website are screenings exclusively for accredited trade visitors to the festival. Access is only possible with an accreditation badge, but prior registration is not necessary. Here is an overview of all P&I screenings.

Presse- und Gästezentrum

On the first floor of the Amerikahaus festival center (Karolinenplatz 3, 80333 Munich), motivated festival staff are available to help during opening hours.

Opening Night

The Opening Night including the screening of the opening film will take place on the evening of June 29 in the Isarphilharmonie on the grounds of the Gasteig HP8. A festival accreditation does not automatically entitle the holder to attend the Opening Night. Attendance at the Opening Night is by invitation only.

FilmTalk

Big names from the international film world provide insights into their work and present their latest projects, which can also be seen at the festival. They will also have the opportunity to ask questions. These talks are all free to attend. You do not need a ticket. You can find an overview of all FilmTalks here.
