In all areas of the film industry, it’s become apparent that there is a shortage of young talent. The recently founded Initiative zur Nachwuchsförderung für Filmberufe (Initiative to Promote the Next Generation of Film Professionals) is addressing this issue. The shared goal is to strengthen the professionalization and qualification of filmmakers in skilled technical crew positions through proper training and upskilling. At this event, IN FILM brings together interested young people and industry professionals to discuss this critical situation.
