True to the traditional motto of summer, sun, and Munich, the new FILMFEST MÜNCHEN POP-UP format will celebrate both film and summer in the city in July and August 2020. In cooperation with the PopUp Autokino München drive-in theater and the Kino am Olympiasee, FILMFEST MÜNCHEN will present seven brand-new films and series in the open air — all of them world premieres attended by special guests. Whether from a car seat or a deck chair, the focus of all the events is the shared analog experience of film in the urban space of the city of Munich.
