Thursday, 06/09/2022

In its 39th edition, FILMFEST MÜNCHEN is returning to movie theaters across town with 120 premieres and numerous international guests. Alba Rohrwacher will receive the CineMerit Award, and special homage will be paid to Doris Dörrie. A new international competition, CineRebels, offers a platform for cinematic innovation and unleashed creativity. And in all other respects as well, the urge to start anew, break free, and live it up is the inspiration for an exciting season of films. The complete program is now online and ticket sales will start in mid-June.
