RAISE THE CURTAIN: THE PROGRAM OF KINDERFILMFEST MÜNCHEN 2023

Thursday, 05/04/2023

Like Munich’s main film festival, KINDERFILMFEST MÜNCHEN (June 24 – July 1) is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. As usual, a diverse selection of films is on offer. The children’s program starts off with a large dose of mischief from the heart of Munich, as sassy, red-haired PUCK THE KOBOLD returns to the big screen. And alongside a range of films for children, the selection for teenagers and young adults is being expanded.

To shorten the wait for the Kinderfilmfest, a special screening of the live-action adaptation of THE LITTLE MERMAID will be held (in cooperation with Disney) at the Mathäser Filmpalast on May 28.

A special highlight: UK star Charles Dance, known from the HBO fantasy series “Game Of Thrones”, in the role of Lord Tywin Lannister, will personally attend the screening of his new film “Rumours” at Königsplatz.
